Leesa has been kind enough to post a couple of my recipes, one of which I am quite proud of. So I am posting a link to my whole smoked turkey recipe.
If you haven’t checked out Leesa’s Red Velvet Cafe, now is the time.
I lead teams at the intersection of strategy and design. Autodidact. Polymath. Barbecue acolyte. I start fires (the good kind).

One of my daily-reading sites is the blog of Ben Hammersley, who in turn introduced me to the blog of Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf Iraq’s Minister of Truth.
Welcome to Day 2 of our new post war country. I am a little hung over from all of the victory celebrations yesterday (that Tariq Aziz mixes a mean margarita). You may be wondering who all these new people are in Baghdad. Well, as part of the terms of their surrender, the American poodle army has been brought in chains to Baghdad by the victorious Iraqi people. They are now to be our slaves. We make them run the country while Saddam and the leadership take a long and well-deserved vacation. There is much work for them to do, so we make them start immediately. That will teach the infidels to mess with the bravest and most capable army in the Arab world.
It’s great to start the day with a laugh.
Just a quick post. Here’s a link to my Garlic Bread recipe on Leesa’s Red Velvet Cafe. I don’t tend to follow my recipes all too often, but I tend to repeat these steps when I make my garlic bread.
Joel Barciauskas of fluxt.org sent me a really cool letter from my contact page yesterday. It’s always cool to meet new people via the ‘Net. When you get a chance check out his site as it has some interesting articles on it (hopefully with more to come). The layout is hi-tech presentation while remaining comfortable to look at. It helps that I generally love color palettes that are made up of gray-blues. One day I will add some alternate designs to my site at least one of which will make use of a similar color set.
Apparently Joel will be working on a project called Eagle Eyes which make use of technology to help non-verbal people use computers. An amazing use of technology to say the least.
Joel is also buddies with one of the guys getting sued by the RIAA. Man… I won’t go into a rant about the RIAA at this point as so many others on the Web have done a much better job of it. But, here are some links to RIAA-related stories:
I’m trying to get MTAmazon to cooperate and display my Amazon wishlist on my wishlist page; but every time MovableType reindexes the site the wishlist page breaks.
This is rather annoying to say the least. But I’ll figger it out.
It’s Sarah’s birthday today!
I think she’ll have a good one considering the presents she will be unwrapping this evening.
