MSNBC UX Fail: At Least They Show the Headline...

So, I click the link in my feed reader to read a story on MSNBC.com, and this is what appeared.

The only part that is fully readable for the story is the headline. Even the byline is partially obscured.

Thanks MSNBC, I'm glad you thought through my experience on your site.

It's a nice touch to see the caveat in there.

I'm not sure how long this has been on the site, but I just noticed that Best Buy's store information page includes geo coordinates. Cool.

Two of these accounts that have included @WrongAlexJones in a list understand its purpose. Two do not. Want to take a guess as to who's right?

A quick snapshot of an ad for an electric shaver from Braun.

I would actually be a bit impressed if the horizontal line look was easily achieved through a use of a Braun, but none of the ad copy implied that as a feature, so I'm assigning all of the win to the ad's designer.

Wow, so there was an error connecting to my machine, but "The operation completed successfully", yet I cannot actually access the machine. Yay.

Very helpful Microsoft, thanks.

It's good to proof your ad before you put it on Facebook.

The typo, plus "the government" (which?) doesn't give me a lot of hope that the school is going to churn out many solid cops.

Great, they'll enable you to post "1000 charachters or more!" So either you don't get Twitter and want to kick out 10+ tweets in a row, you don't like your users and want to kick out 10+ tweets in a row or you think people will click through to a "more" link after the first 120 characters of your post.

Yet another company attempting to inject advertising within Twitter using a rev-share model and referral payments. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn that there is an MLM component in there.

Read the fourth box for a nice little slip of the spellcheck.
