Ice Storm

"What is all this white, frozen stuff?"



Our house viewed from the street. It hasn't looked like this since 1994.



Be careful going down the porch steps!



Mother Nature does what she wants, when she wants. The works of man are at her discretion.



How long will the defroster have to run to melt this off the windshield?



Two days ago it was 70 degrees F, and the rose bush was ready for spring. This morning, ice coats the buds.



This will be one for the record books, if only because it is so late in the season.



Looking down Avenue C from the house. The roads are too icy to be going anywhere.
It's 26 degrees F! Let's crank up the furnace and make some more coffee!
