I know this is a bit antiquated; however, a book that was hugely inspirational to me on both a personal as well as a business level is Seven Habits of Highly Effective People (http://www.amazon.com/Habits-Highly-Effective-People/dp/0671708635) by Stephen Covey. I actually attended a week-long Seven Habits camp back in the late 1980's given by Covey himself, and these concepts were life-changing for me at a time in my life that I needed changing.

I'm sure that this is a timely read and still holds a lot of value as is evidenced in it's continuing to be a best seller even all these years later.

I'm a big fan of "Coders at Work" by Peter Seibel (http://www.amazon.com/Coders-at-Work-Peter-Seibel/dp/1430219483/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1265139712&sr=8-1).

I think it's a good reference for those who program and code for a living as well as those who manage people who code. It goes through what makes good programmers and how to make work better. Given that there are both lots of coders and managers at Refresh, I think it's a good one for the list.
