Plus, Sandy works with Twitter!! This makes “her” invaluable for use from my mobile. Follow Sandy on Twitter, then direct message her with the deets, and she adds the event/reminder just like through email. I use Sandy daily to remind me of everything from when my library books are due to remembering my friend’s favorite candy.

Wow, very cool Megan, thanks for leaving the comment! I hadn’t heard about either service, but will check them out.

ohdontforget.com looks interesting, and seems to cover some different needs from I Want Sandy. It seems much more focused, in a good way. I’ll have to give it a shot.

Red Butler looks great – an actual human as a concierge! The service seems ideal for someone who schedules a lot of reservations or travels very often.

What do you typically use them for? I know you said “everything”, but have you found that they are really good for some things, like reservations?

The monthly fee could easily be covered if it saves you from sitting on hold while making reservations, booking flights and the like…I’m going to keep them in mind for the next time I travel.

I tried out the service until I found 2 other ones that I really liked. One is called, ohdontforget.com, which basically allows you to submit things to remember for free.

The other one is a company that you have to pay for called http://www.RedButler.com. Their memberships start for 35 dollars per month to place up to 15 requests. The cool thing is that it is a real person you are dealing with. You can call and ask them to remind you about stuff, set wake up calls, book your flights, make reservations and calls. I use them for just about everything I do. Both are great and can be really helpful.
