Pasting Wrapped URLs into Firefox

in Firefox & Thunderbird

Andrei Zmievski provides a quick bit of info regarding how to paste multi-line URLs into Firefox, which occur most often when a URL is wrapped in an e-mail. I need to make this change in my various Firefox installations. A bit more info, including a list of what the various settings mean, is provided on Jeremy Zawodny’s site.

>.< Firefox is making me want to cry lately. Since the last patch, it’s been all wonky and I had to jump through hoops to get it to properly handle javascript and pop-up links. Then we had a brownout that restarted my computer, and now I think my profile’s corrupted. I can only get FF to run in safe mode. I’m just too annoyed to back up my profile and reinstall right now.

Have you tried creating another profile to see if it behaves? I’ve found in the past that a new profile may solve issues like that much more quickly than a full re-install.

It’s annoying either way.
