Well, I’m off to Atlanta this morning as I will be attending Blade Show. While I am not a knife collector (I have carried the same swiss army knife for the last 12 years), I am excited to participate. My employer, A. G. Russell Knives, is one of the shows sponsors every year and will have a booth set up. In addition to working the booth I will spend as much time as possible meeting knifemakers, to build a network with other knife industry Web developers and knife collectors to gain more insight into our customer base. I have had a few conversations with knife collectors on various knife forums, but meeting people in person at a giant knife show should prove much more beneficial and interesting. The only downer is the fact that I cannot take Sarah with me. I also don’t expect to have much time to travel around the city and take in its history. Ahh well, Ken is moving to Athens at the end of the summer, so we’ll have an excuse to return to the area.
I hope to post while I am at the show, but I have no clue if that is possible, or merely a pipe dream…
